Winter in North Norway is intimate, magical and meditative.
Winter in North Norway is dark, cold and long.
Which of these two scenarios do you like more?
Which one would you choose if you could?
Because you can. There are tools.
Tuning inwards: meditation and yoga
Embracing the nature element: spending time in nature no matter the weather, ice bathing
Indulging with hot drinks: energising hot chocolate, golden milk or chaga late can boost immunity system and elevate spirit
Doing what you love: books, movies, arts, friends .. Where is your happy space?
Pondering over this topic I created a special session with yoga, meditation, chocolate ritual and healing touch and sounds. The idea is to get together, tune deeper inwards, open the heart, soften, move and breathe, get energised and create some delicious tastes and feelings.

During this ritual we serve intense medicinal hot chocolate. Cacao works both as a grounding and euphorising agent. It helps you connect to the Earth and her magnificent power and sensitise your energetic body.
The more grounded you are the higher you can fly.
We connect to the power of the cacao plant, harvesting all the benefits she is offering. We pay attention to the sensations in the body while drinking. There are two important factors to focus on. Intention and gratitude. The intention here is to get strong and energised, plus you can add your own personal intention. Then feeling gratitude for receiving the powerful properties of the cacao plant growing on the other side of the planet.
May the body be strong and vibrant
May the mind be clear and focused
May the spirit be uplifted
This drink is vegan
During the guided meditation we bring awareness into different places in our body. We use tools of visualisation to invite the sensation of light, strength and vitality into the body and mind.
Strala yoga – moving meditation
Strala yoga focuses on calm and intuitive movement fuelled by the breath to create an oceanic flow. It invites to soften and explore. The goal is to feel good, while practising ease and grace in your yoga and life.
We will practise the alternate nostril breathing to bring in more energy, and balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain. This creates a nice feeling of clarity and joy. Read more about benefits of this breathing technique here.
Meditation in stillness.
Healing touch – led by the touch and sound master Laurent Fauconnier. Grounding and energising foot healing touch, calming and relaxing head and shoulders healing touch. Both grounding and up-lifting effect. Shamanic music instruments will be used during this session,
In healing touch, the hands are the channel of the universal energies. The vibration is like the clear water flowing towards the sea of tranquility. Fluid water sets in motion the frozen energies. The energies circulate from head to toe, from toe to head, though us, beyond us, connect us to the universal energy.
Cacao fills you with love for life. It builds up resistance and fights fatigue. It can also serve as a multidimensional partner and facilitator for creative, spiritual, or ceremonial purposes… artistic, creative, work focus, new age, or shamanic.
Chocolate brings the door but doesn’t push you through it.
It does not act like a psychedelic – it does not take you on its trip, but facilitates your own.
An Indigenous myth tells us whenever the balance between humans and nature becomes threatened, cacao comes from the rain-forest to open people’s hearts and return the planet to harmony. In one of my early communications with the Cacao Spirit, She referred to cacao as “The Food for the Shift”.
“The divine drink which builds up resistance and fights fatigue. A cup of this precious drink permits a man to walk for a whole day without food.” …Hernando Cortés, 1519
